Help kids discover the amazing world of pollinators in a fun and engaging way with this free pollinator scavenger hunt. Hide nine different printable pollinator tokens and have players uncover each secret pollinator by finding and matching each token to their printable scavenger hunt board. Afterwards, search in your own backyard or neighborhood to see how many of the pollinators you can spot.
Setting up this scavenger hunt is quick and easy. Simply cut out each pollinator token and hide each in a different location of your choosing. I like to use tape to adhere the tokens to walls/windows when indoors or to trees when outdoors. Then, give the Pollinator Scavenger Hunt board to player(s) and let them find the tokens.
This scavenger hunt works well for toddler, preschool, and grade school-aged children. It’s a great hands-on activity that teaches matching and problem solving skills to young kids on the go! Scavenger hunts are also a fun way for kids to practice critical thinking and observation skills.
This is a great activity to celebrate:
- Earth Day,
- World Bee Day,
- National Pollinator Week,
- and the spring and summer seasons.
