DIY Candy Heart Coloring Banner

Color your own Valentine’s Day decoration with this printable candy heart bunting flag banner featuring 12 classic conversation hearts. With cute sayings like “QT Pie” and “Hug Me” this festive garland is sure to sweeten up your space. Simply color the flags, cut out, and attach to a string or ribbon to create your diy wall decor.

Do this activity independently or as a group with each person coloring a flag on the banner. This fun craft doubles as a decoration and keepsake. This printable can be used in so many ways, including:

Print all pages on 8.5×11″ paper or cardstock. I recommend cardstock for durability.

Color each flag and then cut each one out. You could also cut the flags out and then color them. There are a total of 12 flags in this banner.

Attach the flags to your string. There are a couple ways you can do this:

  • Use a hole punch to punch a hole in the upper right and upper left corner of each flag. Thread your string through the holes of each flag to create your banner.
  • Fold the top of each banner down (about half an inch) over the string and tape down the fold to hold the string in place.

Hang up your banner by taping or tying the ends of the string to a wall, mantle, doorframe or other surface.
